Itinerary
Embark on a traditional wooden boat to sail upon the magical Mekong river and see the lives of millions farmers. We will travel to Ben Tre, some of the most fertilized area of Mekong Delta to sample some of the best fruits it has to offer. Bike through the green lush hamlets and visit some orchards and local workshops on the way.
Drive to Can Tho, the heart of Mekong Delta to rest for the night then rise early (5 AM) to witness the famous floating market. This is the best way to visit the floating market as they operate at dawn and finish at around 8AM. Sipping a cup of hot coffee in the midst of haggling merchants will surely take you back to bygone days. We will be visiting two floating markets, a retail market and a wholesale one (roughly 1,5 hour boat ride). This unique way of trading originates from the flat terrain of Mekong Delta and its 50.000km of waterway. Hence people rely on rivers and canals for transportation rather than roads.
On the way back to Saigon, we will stop to grab a quick snack at the best ‘banh mi’ shop in town!

Notice
Mekong Delta can be very warm so we recommend you to bring good hats and sun screen to avoid sun burn. Also, we suggest you to bring insect repellent and propoer shoes for your comfort.
