Itinerary
Start your day early while other tourists are still preparing for their trips. We will take you on a 2 hour drive to historic Cu Chi with photo opportunity at rubber farms and rice fields on the way. Unlike other tours, we will be taking you to Ben Duoc Tunnel, and avoid the touristy Ben Dinh.
For years, this elaborate tunnel system has stretched out of man’s imagination. Dropping into a small section of the tunnel will allow you to understand the harshness of the war and why this small town is called “Iron Triangle” with respect. Relying on the network of underground tunnel, fortifications and trenches, Viet Cong guerrilla fighters have fought their way to assemble weapons, supply from Ho Chi Minh Trail, a path used by North Vietnam to transport supply and troops into the South.
The tunnel has been enlarged almost three times for tourist (about 1,1m high) so you can easily enter it. The interior is equipped with dim lights and all booby traps are clearly marked.
